DEO GRATIAS WAYSIDE SHRINE
This is a 4' long wayside shrine I build for a friend. They had me install it in a natural grotto they have
on their land. It is made from a variety of woods with cedar shingles on the roof.
The Battle of Lepanto
This is a reproduction of a shield Pope St. Pius V
gave to Don Juan of Austria after the victory of
Lepanto. It is about 2' in diameter, made of African
Mahogany. The corpus is hand carved from Italy. I
made the mound the crucifix sits in, out of some
burl wood and included a skeleton (the skull
of Adam) made out of antlers.
